eyeTrain – ‘end to end’ Digital CCTV System

Reliable and secure recording of high quality CCTV images is paramount when implementing an on-train CCTV system.  The eyeTrain system has been specifically designed for the operational rigours of both modern and legacy rolling stock. 

High resolution digital images are encoded in the camera and transmitted digitally thought the train providing immunity to interference, attenuation or crosstalk.   Both Standard Definition (D1) and High Definition (1080p) standards are supported, with image resolution now exceeding 3 mega pixels when required.

Ethernet architecture and secure IP protocols provide high bandwidth communication that is scaleable and future ready.

Run-time stability is enforced by proprietary recording technology, combining security and reliability with performance.  eyeTrain will record up to 200 high resolution (D1) images per second, allowing a complete train with up to 16 cameras at 12fps to be recorded by a single DVR.

The latest SATA hard drive technology provides high capacity high speed storage, protected within physically secure modules each with integrated climatic control.

Fully sealed anti-vandal enclosures add piece of mind protection for the on train equipment, suitable for use in the most hostile of passenger domains. 
eyeTrain is fully approved to all applicable Euro norms and UK Rail Group Standards, and also to the more rigorous RIA (Rail Industry Association) standards.
